Here is a checklist of items to bring with you to College:
Tech Gadgets
- Laptop - A must have tech gadget.
- iPod - duh!
- USB Thumb drive - You'll be working on lots of computers.
- Voice Recorder - For note taking and to record those lectures you fall asleep in.
- Speakers - No matter how big or small your quarters are, you need bumps and surround sound.
- Calculator - Cause we're lazy.
Dorm Supplies
- Mini Fridge - Keep drinks cold.
- Sandals - For those nasty showers.
- Alarm Clock - For those
7am 10am classes.
- Desk Lamp - Your mother always told you to read in proper lighting.
- Extension Cords/Surge Protectors - trust me, you'll need them.
- Organizers - Stacking bins and shelves.
- Top ramen cooker - why not automate the meal that is a staple in the college diet.
- Microwave - How else are you going to reheat those leftovers.
- White board - For notes and messages.
- A good desk chair - Your back will thank you, now and 10 years from now.
- Bottle Opener - You never know when you need one.
Internet Apps and Software
Entertainment
- Deck of cards - Drinking games anyone?
- Season tickets to your schools football games
- Car (optional) - even though parking sucks.
Productivity
- A good backpack - Your gonna need something sturdy to lug around 40 lbs. of books.
- Notebooks - In case you actually decide to take notes in class.
- Large supply of Mt. Dew - For those late night study sessions.
- Planner/Organizer - Keep track of
homework assignments dates, parties.
